Sail-training Voyages 

We have been sending young people on sail-training voyages since 2015, when our flagship project "Safe Haven Voyages" was launched. For this unique integration project we set sail in Irish waters with an inclusive mix of participants on board: young people from both migrant and non-migrant backgrounds. The young people come together as a team to form the crew of the vessel. In the process they learn about themselves and each other in a fun, challenging environment.

With the 2020 season approaching, recruitment is underway! If you are interested in joining a Safe Haven Ireland voyage this Summer please contact us on safehavenireland@gmail.com

Additionally, Safe Haven Ireland are able to place trainees on Sail training voyages run by other providers through bursaries. You can check out Sail Training Ireland’s calendar here.
