Safe Haven Voyages is run entirely by volunteers. If you feel passionate about integration, sailing or youth work, and you feel you could contribute to our project, we would love to hear from you!

* VOLUNTEERS NEEDED *

We have an ongoing need for assistance in the following ways:

Fundraising: work for a company with a corporate social responsibility fund? Friends with a philanthropist?  Jump on board and Sponsor your own voyage! We will give you all the help you need to make it happen.

Youth leaders: would you like to be a Watch Leader on a voyage in 2016 or 2017? We give priority to former participants but welcome other applicants with sailing experience. The next training for youth / watch leaders will take place in April 2016.

Online support: a whizz at the world wide web? Can you develop a website, manage and grow our social media presence? 

Gaeilge agus Fáilte: an bhfuil suim agat i nGaeilge? Taimid ag lorg cabhar le aistriuchain, cuir riomh-phoist chugainn!

Management: we are currently seeking volunteers to build our Board of Management. We would be interested in hearing from people who have a PR background or experience and knowledge of charity management, fundraising and youth development.

Other: maybe you have an idea we haven't thought of... Or a skill we don't know we need. You could make us a video interviewing past participants / facilitate team-building workshops / improve our data collection / build us a boat ... we are open to all offers!

As a volunteer with Safe Haven Voyages you will get the opportunity to help give young people the opportunity of a lifetime. And if that isn't its own reward (it is!) our volunteers are regularly offered sailing opportunities - work with us, and then come sail away with us!
